So, some mornings are more full than others. This morning was one of those for me. After a tutoring session with a resilient (and quite active) little 5 year old, we took a walk (sometimes a ‘RUN!’) through the woods. Silent Sunday

Creation speaks. It speaks of newness that rises out of the old, life that comes out of what appears dead, and brilliant beautiful colors that fill in where it was only subdued browns and grays of rocks and dirt. Mindset

Nothing like coming back into your classroom after a long day of teaching and wondering if anything you did, said, or taught made a difference…and then, then… seeing this. It encouraged me to the core, especially when it came as a sweet message from a little guy whom I have heard say, “too hard”, “I can’t”, and “I won’t” so many times.
