Remember

There’s a new song that caught my eye before it caught my ear. I  loved the visual first…and then the acoustics drew me in…but the lyrics? So, I’ve seen lots of posts lately saying that for teachers, it feels like May has like 100 days. Well, I thought that was a cute statement around mid-May, but now, I think it’s quite accurate. a few thoughts on remembering…

    I’m so glad we  have a day to remember …not just the fallen soldiers…but the ones who remember them everyday, all year long, for a lifetime… This past April, I was driving home from the beach and had to stop when I saw this little cemetery. There were flags everywhere…. …and it was pretty cool that “Smith” was the most common name on the tombstones. Lots of “John Smiths” who have given their lives for our country. AmRead more

So, I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but I’ve been blogging a bit (LOT) more than usual. The reason?  A blissful three week break. Yep three whole weeks. Teaching year round school has its advantages for sure.
