Snapped

Sometimes things snap suddenly.  Sometimes there’s a teeny tiny deterioration that takes place minute by minute, day by day, over a period of time. I’m not sure whether these trees were weakened over time, or if they just snapped as a result of the weight of the snow this week.  But I do know one thing.  They snapped.  And it seems to me that the snapping of one led to the snapping of others.
