Today, am thankful for sunrises that look like sherbet, and for eyes to see them.

…for…Paths to take and the feet to take them.

…for…Inspiration given and the heart to receive it.

…for Growth seen and the scaffolds to support it.

Thankful for laughter this week amidst lots of tears. (Some weeks are just like that…) Thankful for sneezes, and Chlortabs that slow them down, and good food. For weather getting cold and the first pot of chili of the season on the stove…and for the hands of Hope that prepared it in her own way. Thankful for sour cream and shredded cheese that calm down the spice of the chili for those who need it in the same way that truth, perspective, and prayer can help quiet the heart in the crazy not-so-mild days we sometimes have.

Yep. Above all, so thankful for this one day at a time, one moment at a time life, and desire to embrace it, come what may ❤
