GRACE, like a blanket of snow

Comes in and quickly covers.

GRACE, like a blanket of snow

Paints the world a different color.

Grace, like  a Southern snow

makes things STOP, pause, breathe, not go

Sometimes we all just need to know

There’s grace that covers

me

GRACE, like a deep winter Snow

Allows there to be beauty where there’s no growth

Allows the light to reflect and show

What is, not what will be

And calls it all beauty

So thankful for the grace, the snow

that helps me see, helps me know

That I can just  be still and know

This grace that covers me

That I can just be still, like snow

Grace comes in and helps me see

What is, not what will be

And covers, covers me.

Thanks Tina. I might just do that. (Have written lots of songs…and so loved singing a lot of them in a trio for 16 years…was such a sweet time in my life.) But yes, I might just do that. Thanks…

  1. Becasue God is a Father who loves to whisper His truths to us if we are but willing to listen it is no surprise that this beautiful pondering should appear in my “in” box today just after i had been sitting with the wonderful message translation of Matthew 11;28-30 which says, and which blew me away “”Are you tired- worn out- burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with Me and youll recover your life. I`ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me.-watch how I do it. LEARN THE UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE.I won`t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you`ll learn to live freely and lighty” And so once again its back to GRACE.. Thanks for not only this post, but all your posts Heather , and you`re being willing to share your heart.. Alison King

Thank you Alison. Love how God uses the hard things ( I so needed grace for a situation and RECEIVED it… and the poem poured out right then…) to encourage us and others. Thanks so much for your encouragement ❤ We'll keep pressing on knowing He is so very present and not only says "Come to me", but comes to us. Love that….
