Praying for some dear friends and through some things this morning and found myself singing these words…. I love that God doesn’t pull back from the difficult things in life. He calls us to draw near to Him, to trust Him, to walk in His ways. He calls us to greater things than what we can imagine…but sometimes the pathway isn’t what we’d imagine or choose, that’s for sure. I love that He can use all things. ALL things. The requirement is that we bring them to Him and trust Him…
Carry On
When I walk where I never thought I’d go
When I bear what I never thought I’d hold
When I see what I hoped I’d never ever ever see
I will trust in the Grace of Calvary
When my world feels like it’s crashing down
When it feels like there’s no solid ground
When the light is so hard to be found
I will pray and just lay my burdens down
(Chorus)
For my Lord is the lifter of my eyes
And He sees what I can’t see with mine
And He uses all I bring to Him
Oh, the offering is where His grace begins
For my Lord is the lifter of my eyes
How He sees what I can’t see with mine
He breathes life into what I thought was gone
He gives grace that helps me carry on, oh, carry on…
When I hear words that cut so deep
When I wish there was just some release
When I find that answers can’t be found
I will trust in the love of Christ profound
When I fear what the next moment brings
Let me stop and trust in unseen things
Oh He loves and lives and leads and stands
Oh my Jesus meets me where I am
He gives grace that helps me carry on, oh, carry on…
When I walk where I never thought I’d go
When I bear what I never thought I’d hold
When I see what I hoped I’d never ever ever see
I will trust in the Grace of Calvary
For that’s where He carried the cross for me
So I’ll carry on as one set free, oh carry on
Carry On ❤ ~

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:8
Thank you for sharing, Heather. I keep coming back to reread these words as they have greatly encouraged me during this challenging time. Yl
