I so understand the prompt challenge that “dishes don’t do themselves”. There are a myriad of jobs to do daily that won’t do themselves. But… as one who has a very persnickety dishwasher, I want to encourage those of you who do have a reliable dishwasher, to be very thankful because, dishes do (pretty much) do themselves! I have had weeks of having to troubleshoot things with ours and am relieved EVERY time that I open the dishwasher to find clean dishes. Talk about being thankful for little things! I’m so there…especially when it comes to my dishes doing themselves in our persnickety dishwasher. (And I’m working on the being thankful in all things when I’m hand washing a whole load of dirty dishes!)

Not exactly sure what’s going on, but have you tried LEMI SHINE? My dishes were cloudy and yuck due to hard water. This stuff cleared it right up. I sound like a spokesperson for the company but really am not.

Thanks for the tip! Actually, it’s a draining issue (NOT draining…) but am keeping my fingers crossed because it’s been on a good run for a few weeks!

When I use the dishwasher, our electric consumption spikes. I guess ours is not a very good model.
