Oh Lord, sometimes when I see a need, I want to

RUN boldly…

Bulldoze…

Crash in and help in ways I think will help.

And yet, I feel the need to tip toe,

be cautious,

not assume that I know or understand

what’s best.

At these times I realize how very human I am.

But…I’m thankful that because of your love & forgiveness,

I can

RUN boldly…

Bulldoze…

Crash in and ask you to help in ways that only you can.

The doors to the Throne of Grace

swing wide open

and I can be wide open with my cries for help…

So I CRY OUT LOUD

for those in need…

for those I love…

whom you Love even more.

Even more…

and when I rise from running to you,

You can help me have a heart and eyes Wide Open

that help me know how to walk, run, or tip toe

You direct my steps in how to love well

when there are more questions than answers…

and how to serve well when things can’t be fixed.

Breathe through your people Lord….

Help us love well and not tip toe in a world that desperately needs to see

your hands and feet

fleshed out in human form.

You led the way in that.

Help us follow your lead.
