Weekly Photo Challenge ~ ‘Reward’

The WPC for the week is ‘reward’.In between a day at work and the night’s routine,I love to go for a drive down to the river.

It’s a definite reward as I turn up the music and roll down the windows and take in the sights. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful and unique each sunset is. It’s as though the sky is a masterpiece canvas that’s just repainted every evening. If I have enough time, I’ll often walk on the trail by the river. Taking in the sights and sounds is a definite reward, and a breath of fresh air. These photos were taken this week on a cold evening after a rare North Carolina snow. The snow didn’t stay for long, but it was beautiful while it was here.
