I’ve heard of ‘the road less traveled’
I’ve walked it a mile or two
I’ve seen my own road unravel
Horizon so not blue
but oh the grace that’s met me
On this unchartered course
My Savior never leaves me
Hope overrides remorse

For there have been such blessings
some in disguise, some clearly seen…..
I know that He is with me-
what peace that brings to me

Peace comes amidst the trials
It comes amidst the storm
It comes in the release of
what’s not mine to change or force

On this my road to travel,
I let go, I choose to breathe
Take life step by step,
find true joy amidst the grief
For on this road I travel
I wander, but am not lost
My journey is a mix of
great value at great cost

Faith is a foundation
A holy respite ground
Hope is the destination
That will keep me walking on
whatever road I travel
My steps wherever I roam
my journey temporary
Leads to an Eternal Home
so on this road I travel
So full of twists and turns
I’m thankful for each moment
Every single lesson learned
the journey’s destination?
The process is the gift
Gratitude and awareness
That this is my own life to live
So yes- this road less traveled
Is mine, what grace that brings
The grace in the acceptance
To know wherever it leads
This road belongs to me
Lord. be the lamp unto my feet

Blessings~
